CG MaxThermic is a high quality vacuum insulated panel constructed from a unique inert alkaline earth silicate glass wool core material with a very low thermal conductivity.  The core material is predominantly SiO₂ with some unique added properties that improve the thermal insulation beyond that of fumed silica.  The panels are sealed in a high gas barrier film under vacuum.  A patent pending technique is used to apply a layer of Al₂O₃ throughout the panel to provide an extend panel life time that protects the panel from water vapour ingress through the high gas barrier film over time.

The panel core is non-flammable and the layered construction allows for the manufacture of very thin panels down to 3mm thick.  Panels can be manufactured in rectangular and other shapes up to 1000x1800mm in size.

A throughlife, patent pending, quality control system is available using a low cost handheld reader to remotely sense and record the panel integrity.  The sensor can be read remotely, even when the panel is installed and not directly accessible.
